Mr. Eric Luftman (Head of the U.S. Embassy’s ECON section) visited farm of Milan and Goran Skundric in village Nistavci near Prijedor. Family Skundric is the largest milk producer in Prijedor Municipality (a herd of 160 cows; 80 milking cows) with daily production of 1,600 liters of milk.  The Skundric farm received technical designs for new stables, trainings in good hygiene practices and training for improved food formulation through various USAID-sponsored projects. Now, a 100% of the produced milk is continually being rated as “extra class” (the highest rating possible). USAID (through FARMA project) is assisting Skundric’s farm with trainings on business planning.
